Magazines, books, newsletters, reports, journals - all need particular design skills, with an emphasis on typography, legibility and a design approach which is sympathetic to the subject matter.

Clockwork is highly experienced in this field, having been responsible for the successful launch of many new magazine titles over the years, and the re-design of existing titles.

Clockwork currently produces a monthly online magazine - PA Enterprise - for the website www.deskdemon.com, the world's largest resource, information and community site for Executive PAs, secretaries, Administrators and Office Managers.

This involves not only the design and production (including using 3D software to turn it into an interactive, page-flip magazine), but also responsibility for the editorial content and all images.

Other examples of publishing design work include a quarterly journal for the Scientific Instrument Society, Aspire Teen Magazine, and books and newsletter for clients as diverse as antique dealers and letting agents.
